First day

My first day in Sevilla! It was a very stressful two days. Yesterday my mom and I left Swansboro for the Charlotte airport. After paying $55.00 for an extra bag (I brought 2 suitcases for 5 months and they charged us 55 bucks for it!) we weighed my bags and realized one was 51 pounds and the other was 54. There is a 50 lb weight limit, anything over is $50.00 extra per bag! So we switched out some stuff of mine into Karina's bag since it was under the limit. It ended up all working out and us not having to pay any extra fees for my bags being to heavy. So then we flew to Philadelphia, then our flight got delayed which in turn made us miss our flight from Madrid to Sevilla. I arrived here a few hours past my scheduled time so my host family wasn't there to get me, and I didn't have their address or phone number on me anywhere. After 45 minutes at the airport by myself I found the coordinators phone number and this nice lady helped me call him and he gave me the address. I had to take a taxi, which was about 10 minutes ride and 30 euros. RIDICULOUS. My host mom made a nice lunch and afterwards I unpacked. The house is nice it's sort of like a town home. Pepe, my host dad, took me on a tour of Sevilla. I love the center of the town it was very pretty. There's something like 2,000 bars. There was a bar every time your turned around. And there are orange trees EVERYWHERE. I've never spoken/ heard so much Spanish in one day before. My brain is exhausted.  I'm sort of home sick already which is no good, but I'm sure it's just because I had a bad time traveling. Luckily I got to Skype my mom today and my Aunt and Papaw were with her so it was really nice seeing them. I'm already missing a cell phone, it's weird not being able to text or call someone whenever I want. I'm really looking forward to my time here and can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
Buenos noches!
